Shard implant owes its name at The Shard, the tallest skyscraper of London inaugurated in 2012 and designed by Renzo Piano’s group of architects, RPBW (Renzo Piano Building Workshop).
DLC coating

Surgical drills manufactured by Mech & Human are characterised by a black colour, due to DLC, Diamond Like Carbon coating, an innovative carbon-based coating.
